Loccioni (Italy) GIGAS FT-IR Double Cell is an innovative and exclusive spectrometer configuration: a single interferometer module is combined with two identical measurement cell modules.
Each one is provided with its own detector, gas inlet and control devices: the IR beam coming from the interferometer is divided into two beams by a beamsplitter and after this stage the two measuring modules are completely independent.
This permits to analyse gas stream from two different points of a plant process with only an instrument, for example upstream and downstream of an abatement stage where multi-gas monitoring is required.
With this analyser it is possible to achieve a reliable, integrated and cost-saving solution for continuous real-time process control, a feedback for the plant conduction on reactions efficiency and a reagents saving up to 15%.
Loccioni FT-IR technology has also obtained an important acknowledgement for emission monitoring, that is TÃœV certification according EN 15267 with six months maintenance interval for all analysed gas components.
