Hitech Instruments (UK) has the experience of 30 years designing and manufacturing gas analysers. Now embedded in the new purpose built factory of parent company MTL Instruments, Hitech has the facilities and resource to expand the range of both hazardous and safe area process gas analysers.
Hitech make both sensors and electronics in house to give greater control over the process and the quality. Manufactured sensors include electrochemical and zirconia sensors for oxygen measurement and katharometers (thermal conductivity sensors) for gases such as hydrogen, helium and argon.
The additional laboratories in the new factory have allowed Hitech to increase the range of gases that can be mixed accurately, which in turn has extended the calibration capabilities.
As a consequence Hitech has been able to respond quickly to market led requirements for multi-parameter instruments for the chlor-alkali process, biogas monitoring, hydrogen cooled generator and modified atmosphere packaging markets.
Hitech offers bespoke designed analysers for specific applications – usually within a month.
MTL Instruments offers hazardous area solutions, surge protection and wireless technology. With all this expertise in the same building Hitech is able to offer even better systems and advice on hazardous area installations. Currently there is great interest in the GIR5000 biogas analyser for anaerobic digester facilities and Hitech are running a series of technical seminars at water utility companies to apprise them of the implications of hazardous area classification.
