This video shows how polymer flocculants are used in wastewater treatment to separate solids from liquids.
The jar test illustrates four slurry samples, each treated with 2.5 ppm of anionic flocculant. The slurry samples are from aggregate production and well-drilling operations.
Here we can see that using anionic polymer flocculant on slurry samples created 12-16 in/minute of settling velocity.
